Robert is a Credentialed Mediator and Paralegal, and Conflict Resolution Specialist with extensive training in child development, and child advocacy.
He is a teacher, business owner, mediator, lecturer and author of the forthcoming book, "Razing Men" - on what it means to be a man in today’s culture.
Many people come to the field of divorce work from a legal or mental health professional background. While Robert Revel is a Credentialed Paralegal, the foundation of his background comes from the arena of conflict resolution.
Robert has taught in the trenches sharing conflict resolution and non-violent living skills in prisons and in schools, resolving and mediating disputes in spiritual centers and in homeless shelters, and teaching healthy and effective communication skills to corporate managers and HR directors, in the United States, and overseas.
Working closely with the school system for many years as a resource to the counselors there for troubled adolescents, and as a high school varsity basketball coach, Robert’s love for children and service to them is exemplary, and his advocacy for them at GO Divorce Clinic is hard to miss.
An experienced Mediator and Colorado Court sanctioned Parenting Coordinator, Robert served as a Court referred Parenting Class Instructor for the State of Colorado’s 7th Judicial District.
Robert’s upcoming book “Razing Men” is an honest, powerful and insightful examination on men, violence, and the complex relationships that arise out of the human condition. It is due in the Spring of 2011.
Robert is a modern-day visionary, with a passion for executing his dreams. Because he cares about the environment, in 1999 he designed and built an alternative, self-sufficient, solar-powered, earthen, off-grid home that produces its own power, water and garden for self-sustainability.
Because he cares about people in crisis, he created GO Divorce Clinic, to serve those who are facing some of the most difficult times they may ever encounter in their lives.
Robert lives and works in Sonoma County, and also guides men on a one-to-one basis, helping them to transform and heal their lives.
